The Summer Before College

The college process is over and hopefully you have found a school where you can grow academically and mature. You hold a high school diploma and although this level of education may not sustain a lifestyle that will foster financial independence, you should still be very proud.

You have finished over twelve years of education and now you are a high school graduate. Congratulations to you!

During the summer before college, complete activities that are constructive. Be safe and make sound decisions, especially in regards to alcohol consumption, drugs and sexual activity. The summer is a time to relax but it is also a time to reflect on your life.

Continue to make mature, sound decisions. Good luck with the rest of your life.
